LOCAL police distributed anti-terrorism brochures to the public on busy streets yesterday morning, including Nanjing Road, the Bund, Lujiazui, Wujiaochang and Xujiahui. Officers also played videos on anti-terrorism measures.
Residents were asked to report to police immediately when they noticed suspicious people or items. They were also taught how to escape from the scene of emergencies and how to save others as well as protect themselves.
