A university student who set fire to three bikes has been sentenced to three years behind bars, with a three-year reprieve, according to prosecutors in Jing’an District.
According to prosecutors, the man, surnamed Jia, was upset about being asked to leave an Internet cafe when he decided to vent his frustration by lighting a bike and a moped on fire. He also ignited a trash bin and threw a shared bike into the fire. He was convicted of arson.
