THE Songjiang District People's Court yesterday ordered a mental health center to pay 34,000 yuan (US$4,975) in compensation to a patient who suffered a broken leg last July after he was assaulted by another patient. The health center said it was an accident, but the court ruled the hospital didn't manage its patients well enough.
