Assault victim in witness plea

A MAN seriously injured by three men who attacked him for foiling a theft is calling for witnesses.
From his hospital bed, 24-year-old Sui Jincheng appealed for help to identify his attackers. A friend, surnamed Wang, said: "All we want to do now is help him find witnesses." Sui said he warned a middle-aged woman about a pickpocketing gang as he returned from work to his residential community on Guoshun Road E. The three men abandoned their attempt to steal and instead attacked Sui, who is now in intensive care with skull fractures. Sui's friends said they hoped the intended victim, a middle-aged woman, will come forward to identify the attackers.
