Beggars detained

Two female beggars were detained by police on Sunday evening after abusing a woman on a Metro train. The vagrants, one of whom was carrying a baby, became angry after the Line 3 passenger refused to give them any money.
The pair verbally abused and pushed the woman before other passengers intervened. Another passenger on the train filmed the incident on a cellphone and later uploaded the footage to the Internet. When the two women realized they were being filmed, they attempted to snatch the phone. Police were alerted and the beggars were taken in for questioning. Begging is not allowed on the city’s Metro network.
