Big green space on way

THE Waigaoqiao area will boast the biggest green space in the Pudong New Area with a green land construction project now under way, authorities said yesterday.
The green area, incorporating a lake, a sports park and an ecological wetland, covers about 5.74 square kilometers. It has a total cost of about 200 million yuan (US$32.25 million), said officials.
The project also incorporates some residential buildings.
