A 17-YEAR-OLD boy surnamed Liu received 7 months in jail for disguising himself as a firefighter to swindle 11,984 yuan (US$1,796) in four months, the Changning District People's Court said yesterday.
He claimed to be a firefighter and asked restaurants, hotels and foot massage venues to buy firefighting books. In April, he was caught sending books to a hotel by a security guard.
