‘Bomber’ questioned

A MENTALLY disabled man was questioned by police yesterday after claiming to have planted a bomb in a bank, police said. The man, who was not named, said he had put the device in the Zhabei branch of Tianjin Bank, at the intersection of Hengfeng and Tianmu roads. The branch was evacuated about 8:30am, but police were unable to find any evidence of a bomb.
