Brits rally to help children
THE Brits Abroad, a not-for-profit organization consisting of more than 250 British families in Shanghai, donated 23,000 yuan (US$3,360) to Shanghai Children's Medical Center and Project HOPE, an international non-profit health training organization, to sponsor a safety education program for migrant children in Shanghai.
The program will kick off in January at the Lubinghua Primary School for migrant children in the Pudong New Area to teach students and parents about preventing accidental injuries.
