Building fire kills 1

A FIRE broke out in a residential building on Xing’an Road in Huangpu District about 8:30pm yesterday, killing one person and injuring another. The fire started at a garage on the first floor and soon spread to the whole five-story building. It was put out in about half an hour. Firefighters evacuated more than 20 residents in the building.
