The Pudong Industrial and Commercial Administrative Bureau, the Pudong Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau and the Pudong Food and Drug Administration will be officially merged from tomorrow to create a new market and quality watchdog. The new formation aims to address the overlapping of supervision in production, circulation and consumption of products, authorities said.
