Shanghai South Long-Distance Bus Station has opened a WeChat service to provide passengers with up-to-date bus schedules. Passengers can log on to the Wechat account “Shanghai South Long-Distance Bus Station,” said Shi Weiwei, a station manager. Shi said the service will likely be popular in the next two weeks because bus demand rises when the summer holiday comes to a close. Transport officials said additional train and bus services will be available to handle the rush as students return to school.
