ABOUT 30 percent of restaurants are fully booked for next year’s Chinese New Year’s Eve dinner, according to the Shanghai Restaurants Association.
Due to the rising cost of raw materials, prices of the celebratory meal are expected to rise by about 7 percent, the association said. Chinese New Year falls on February 19.
