UK citizens living in Shanghai, or anywhere else outside their homeland, can register to vote in the European Union referendum online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote, the British Embassy said. The nationwide poll to decide whether or not the United Kingdom remains part of the EU is expected to happen before the end of next year.
