Car catches fire on busy Yan'an Road

A car caught fire under the elevated road on Yan'an Road near Shaanxi Road N. around noon today.
Flames with black smoke could be seen and a loud bang was heard during the fire, according to witnesses.
Police said they received a call at 12:16pm today. The fire was put out by firefighters at 12:30pm. There were no casualties. The car caught fire on its own, police said, without elaborating.
The case is still being investigated.
