THE owner of a shop selling car spare parts in Jiading District has been arrested along with his employee who was asked to lie to a car insurance company by his boss, Shanghai police said yesterday. The owner surnamed Yang crashed his newly purchased Audi into the rear end of a large van in September last year that caused about 200,000 yuan (US$32,000) damages to his car. Yang told his employee Yin to lie to the insurance company that he was at the wheels of the car when the accident took place.
