Two people were killed and two others injured in a traffic accident this morning in Minhang District.
A car crashed into four pedestrians around 8:40am on Fanghe Road. Two elderly women died at the scene while a young man and woman were sent to a hospital.
Police have detained the driver and are investigating whether he was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
