A LOCAL charity is appealing to individuals and companies to donate books for primary schools in an impoverished mountain area of Yunnan Province.
Anyone with a new or (good condition) used book should send it to the Shanghai Huangpu Philanthropy Federation at Building No. 7, 555 Henan Road S. Contributions, which should be marked “book donation,” will be accepted through January 20 and all items will be given to libraries in Dehong Prefecture. Cash donations are also welcome.
