THE latest guideline on management of hazardous chemicals will be carried out from July 1, the city’s work safety watchdog said yesterday. The catalog will be the third one since its launch in 2012.
For the first time the catalog will have a “positive list” on hazardous chemicals that can be used within the Outer Ring Road. The idea is to improve work safety of the city. Apart from the 200 listed substances, no other chemicals are allowed for industrial use in downtown areas.
