A FURTHER 138 supermarkets and agricultural markets have been granted permission to sell chilled chicken, taking the number of licensed vendors to 475, the Shanghai Commerce Commission said yesterday. Consumers can now buy chilled chicken at outlets of Carrefour, Tesco, RT-Mart, Wal-Mart and Auchan, and at wet markets. Trading of live poultry has been suspended until March 30 to help reduce the risk of an H7N9 bird-flu outbreak.
