Chinese artwork collectors鈥 city date
SOME 620 Chinese artwork collectors, including some 200 from overseas, will take part in the fourth World Congress of Chinese Collectors at the Shanghai International Convention Center from November 1 to 4, organizers said yesterday.
The event, on the theme of “Responsibilities and Qualities of Collectors,” will gather private collectors and experts to share their appraisal techniques for calligraphy, paintings, porcelain and furniture. Guest speakers include Jay Xu, director of Asian Art Museum in San Francisco and Stacey Pierson, former director of the Percival David Foundation of Chinese Art in London.
