City police reunite lost boy with parents

A 12-YEAR-OLD boy who got lost on the subway after leaving home was reunited with his parents yesterday.
The boy surnamed Luo told police he took the subway because he was bored at home when his parents were at work.
Luo boarded a Line 11 train at Shanghai West Railway Station in Putuo District early in the afternoon and got off at Line 3's Shanghai South Railway Station in Xuhui District.
The boy was found by police crying alone at about 8pm yesterday as he couldn't remember which station he boarded the subway train.
Luo told police he and his parents are from neighboring Anhui Province and he was here for summer vacation. He said he had almost no time with his mother and father because they are busy working, leaving him at home alone.
Police reunited Luo with his parents at 10pm.
