Consumers take on furniture store

ALTOGETHER 24 consumers have formed a "rights protection group" against DaVinci Furniture Co Ltd, under the organization of a Shanghai law firm. They will first negotiate with the company, then launch a lawsuit if fail to get a satisfactory response, lawyers said.
This week DaVinci opened a hotline for consumers. The number, 400-650-586, will accept complaints and consultations for about a week, said the company. DaVinci has been accused of falsely claiming where its furniture was made.
