Cooked food warning
VISITORS to the World Expo site are advised to bring biscuits, bread or muffins if necessary, but not home-cooked meals, the Shanghai Food and Drug Administration said yesterday.
Cooked food is susceptible to high temperatures and may lead to food poisoning. Shanghai is expected to stay warm during the six-month event and cooked meals can only be kept for two hours. People are also advised to bring some fruit to supplement fluids.
