Cops quick to nab killer driver

A MAN who killed a woman pedestrian on Sunday night in Hongkou District while driving without a license was caught by police just five hours later, Hongkou police said yesterday.
The suspect, surnamed Pu, was driving along Zhoushan Road when he hit the woman on a crossroad at 10:15pm. He then fled the scene. The victim was pronounced dead by the time police and ambulance arrived on the scene. Pu was located with the help of surveillance videos and immediately confessed. He said did not have a driving license and was wiping the windscreen when the crash happened.
