BRANDS such as Disney, LV and Fendi were involved in a total of 4,070 intellectual property infringement cases accepted and heard by Pudong New Area People’s Court since the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone was set up in September 2013.
Among them, 67 cases involved more than 1 million yuan (US$145,000) , and 13 of them concerned more than 10 million yuan, with the “most expensive” case involving 90 million yuan.
