Cyclist killed by bus

A CYCLIST was crushed to death after being hit by a public bus on Gonghexin Road yesterday. The elderly cyclist had reportedly jumped a red light when he was hit by a No. 701 bus at around 7am, STV news reported. Surveillance camera footage showed that the bus did not slow down at the zebra crossing and the cyclist was flung for as far away as 10 meters.
