Disabled kids' art up for grabs at online charity auction

MORE than 100 artworks from disabled kids were put under the hammer on eBay this afternoon in a global online charity auction to raise money for handicapped children's education.
Co-sponsored by the Shanghai Disabled Persons Federation and Wenhui Daily, the auction gathered artworks including paintings and paper-cuttings from disabled children across Shanghai.
The 126 entries were put on eBay today, organizers said.
Half of the auction revenue will be returned to the creator, while the rest will be donated to a charity foundation which was launched today.
