‘Disney’ hotel fined
A HOTEL management company that added the word “Disney” to the names of four of its hotels in the Pudong New Area has been fined 100,000 yuan (US$15,400) for trademark infringement. Walt Disney Co filed a complaint after discovering that the Shenzhen-based Weiyena had illegally aligned itself to the famous brand at its outlets in Chuansha, Zhoupu, Caolu and Huinan.
