Disney mountain
SHANGHAI Disney Resort yesterday announced the top-out of an artificial mountain in the park. This will be the highest “mountain” in the Pudong New Area, and the second highest structure at the Shanghai Disneyland — topped only by a Disney castle. The “mountain” is designed to be an iconic landmark and to anchor one of the Disneyland’s six themed lands, the resort said. Its height was not disclosed. Teams of “imagineers” — Disney staff whose work blends imagination and engineering — went to real mountains to gather inspiration for the design and development of attractions, the resort said.
