Disney swindler detained

A MAN based in Guangdong Province has been detained for selling fake Shanghai Disney Resort tickets and profiting over 100,000 yuan (US$15,000), local police said yesterday.
The suspect, surnamed Zheng, reportedly sold over 200 tickets at the official prices since April through an online shop called “Wholesale Department of the Greater China Area” and hosted at a famed e-commerce platform.
The one-day standard park ticket for Shanghai Disneyland costs 499 yuan, while the child ticket costs 375 yuan.
A woman had filed a complaint in June saying that 10 tickets for the resort she bought online turned out to be fake.
