A MIGRANT worker who believed a local hospital had swindled him with excessive medical fees and stabbed a doctor in Songjiang District, was jailed for two years, the Songjiang District People’s Procuratorate said yesterday. The man, surnamed Huang, a migrant from Anhui Province, was diagnosed with a urinary condition at the No.73176 Hospital of the People’s Liberation Army. He agreed to pay 20,000 yuan (US$3,282) for an operation to remove a cyst, but refused follow-up treatment.
