Dog gets unusual walk

POLICE are warning drivers not to “walk their dog” while driving after surveillance cameras captured images of a dog running behind a car in Jiading District on Monday. The surveillance cameras recorded a man driving a white BMW with its trunk open. A leash extended from the trunk to a brown German shepherd. The man was driving slowly but the dog had to run fast to keep pace with the car, police said. Some passing drivers honked while others stopped to look or take pictures of the unusual scene. Police are searching for the driver, who if caught, will be warned or fined up to 200 yuan (US$32) for dangerous driving.
