Driver killed on ring road

A man was killed in a car accident on the Middle Ring Road around midnight on Tuesday, police said yesterday. The Audi car he was driving was stuck between cement barriers with its rear end tilted upward. Police said the man was found dead at the scene. The accident took place between Wenshui Road and Guangyue Road in a northern section of the elevated road. There was some debris scattered on the road near the scene, and a concrete barrier and fence were damaged. Traffic was not seriously affected, police said. An investigation is underway.
