MINHANG District People’s Procuratorate yesterday approved the arrest of Sun Haojie, the car driver who knocked down and killed a traffic police officer.
On March 11, the 32-year-old officer Mao Shengquan was dragged for about 10 meters when he tried to stop Sun’s red BMW from making an illegal turn at the junction of Wuzhong and Hongxu roads. Mao died of brain hemorrhage after hitting his head on the ground.
