Drugs discovered on 2 bus drivers
TEN drivers and passengers on tourist buses entering Shanghai in the past month have been found to have drugs on them, police in suburban Jinshan District said yesterday.
In the latest case, two drivers on a bus were caught after being stopped at the check station on the G15 Shenhai Expressway at the border of Shanghai and Zhejiang Province on Monday, police said. Urine tests later returned positive results for both drivers, it was reported.
The driver surnamed Zhang, who was behind the wheel at the time and has a drug history, had been punished with 10 days’ detention, while the other driver, surnamed Yin, would be detained for five days. Both would have their driving licenses annulled, police said.
