Drunk driver swaps seats with his girlfriend after crashing car, detained

A drunk driver has been detained for swapping seats with his girlfriend during a police check, Xinmin Evening News reported today.
On July 30, the man surnamed Shan was driving his car with his girlfriend surnamed Qin next to him in Qingpu District. He bumped his car into another vehicle on Chengzhongn Road S., and then swapped his seat with his girlfriend.
The driver of the other vehicle saw them changing seats and told the traffic policeman. Qin denied that she tried to fill in for her boyfriend.
But police saw the video footages which showed Shan was the driver. A breathalyzer test also showed that Shan had a blood alcohol concentration of 1.67mg/ml, which was higher than the accepted 0.2mg/ml.
The policeman detained both Shan and his girlfriend.
