A 29-year-old man surnamed Zhang was arrested for allegedly killing an e-bike rider when he ran a red light on April 30, and his mother-in-law was detained by officers for claiming that she was driving the vehicle when the accident happened, prosecutors in Qingpu District said yesterday.
