ZHABEI District People's Court has sentenced a woman to help her ex-husband repay debts, officers said yesterday. A woman surnamed Zhu loaned 480,000 yuan (US$70,300) to a co-worker who failed to return it.
The co-worker and his ex-wife, said he owed the money for gambling and that the ex had nothing to do with the debt. The court disagreed.
