Ex-planning, building officials investigated

TWO former officials in the land and construction sectors are being investigated for alleged severe disciplinary violations, the discipline watchdog of Fengxian District said yesterday.
The men were named as Yang Hanrong, the former head of the district’s land planning and management bureau, and Chen Zhengyuan, former general manager of Shanghai Nengdi Construction Engineering Co Ltd. No other details were released. Meanwhile, a former lawmaker of Dachang Town in Baoshan District, Xi Liangying, was yesterday demoted for severe disciplinary violations.
