A wet contest this weekend for F1 fans
FANS of Formula One are being advised to carry umbrellas with them as forecasters are predicting a wet race for the Chinese Grand Prix this weekend.
The highs at the weekend will likely dip into teens due to the cold chill brought by the rain.
Due to the warm moisture flowing into the city, today will be warmer than yesterday when the high is forecast to rise from 19 to 23 degrees Celsius.
The rain will strengthen today with chances of thundershowers hitting the city at times. Skies will be mostly overcast.
Skies are likely to turn cloudy tomorrow, followed by an increase in clouds on Saturday, bringing showers on the weekend.
But it is expected to clear up on Monday with higher temperatures.
Today’s temperatures are projected to be between 17 and 23 degrees.
The high will drop to 20 degrees tomorrow, when the low is forecast to be 14 degrees.
The cooling trend will continue into the weekend with highs of 17 and 16 degrees, but it will bounce back to 21 degrees on Monday.
Lows from Saturday to Monday will fluctuate between 13 and 14 degrees.
Guyu, or grain rain, the sixth solar term, falls on Sunday. It is generally believed that the spring rains will help the grains to grow.
