Facelift for ferry terminals

A total of 19 passenger ferry terminals along the Huangpu River will be renovated before the end of the year, said the city’s traffic authority.
After the facelift, the terminals will be equipped with new LED displays showing ferry timetables. Ticket scanning machines will also be upgraded.
New chairs and broadcasting equipment will be installed too.
Renovations have already been completed at the Dongjiangdu and Lujiabang Road wharves in Puxi, and the Minsheng Road wharf in the Pudong New Area. The traffic authority said more terminals along Huangpu River will also be renovated starting next year.
