Family of three found dead in city apartment

A family of three was found dead inside a Shanghai apartment today in downtown Hongkou District, news website xinmin.cn reported today.

The deaths were reportedly discovered around 1pm.

Residents from the residential complex on Guangzhong Road reportedly said the family rented the flat and were not well known by most neighbors.

Police officers were seen removing the bodies from the building this afternoon but they didn't provide any details about the case.
