Fatal dock accident

A man and a woman drowned around midday yesterday at a ferry terminal on Changxing Island when their car plunged into the Yangtze River, Chongming District government said.
The couple were found dead in the car, which was lifted out of the river at 3:40pm. The ferry boat had not finished docking when the vehicle tried to board, a surveillance video showed. An investigation is under way.
