Fatal rear-end collision

ONE person was killed in the rear-end collision of two trucks on the A30 Highway in Pudong New Area at 0:50am yesterday. A container truck was parked in a lay-by when a second truck crashed into it. Containers on the parked truck fell onto the second, trapping the driver, said the fire department. The driver was confirmed dead by rescuers. In another accident, one person was killed and two injured when a truck rolled onto a car on the G60 Highway, near Fengjing tollbooth, at 12:45pm yesterday.
