A car company has been ordered to give a refund to the buyer of a luxury car that experienced serious malfunctions within a year of purchase, a local court said yesterday. The plaintiff, surnamed Shen, said he bought the Jaguar car for 1.08 million yuan (US$166,000) in January 2014, but began having serious problems in the following 10 months, including engine failure.
