A FIRE broke out inside a commercial building on Fengzhuang Road in Jiading District about 9am yesterday. The flames were put out by a sprinkler system but heavy smoke blanketed three stories of the building.
A hotel on the ground floor suspended business after the fire because of flooding from the sprinklers. The fire was believed to have started in the office of a supermarket business on the third floor of the building. The fire authority is looking into the exact cause.
