Fire kills man

AN elderly man in his 80s was killed early yesterday when a fire broke out in a building material market in Minhang District, firefighters said. Neighbors in the Jiuxing Market heard the man shouting for help and found him burnt to death. The fire was put out in half an hour and firefighters found the body in the house. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
