A MAN who uploaded to the Internet images of two buildings engulfed by flames and claimed they were taken in Minhang District has been detained for rumor-mongering. The images sparked panic on social networks, though people in the area were never in danger. The images were actually of two buildings in Lingshi County, north China’s Shanxi Province.
