A FITNESS coach from Chongming Island died after crashing his motor glider on Sunday, police said yesterday. The 30-year-old man, surnamed Gong, took off from Gangyan Town but plunged into a fishpond after gliding for a while. His parents said it was the first time he was flying the glider which he bought three months ago for about 30,000 yuan (US$4,722).
